News 4: WHO say it’s ‘rare’ for asymptomatic COVID-19 patients to pass virus

A World Health Organization official said it appeared to be rare for asymptomatic individuals to pass along COVID-19 to others. Dr. Fred Campbell, General and Hospital Medicine, said this new information should not change how people react to the virus.

“I would really hope that we would not let down our guard at this point,” said Dr. Campbell.
