Nov. 28 is final day to sponsor a wreath for America’s fallen heroes

UT Health San Antonio’s Staff Advisory Council is partnering with Wreaths Across America – San Antonio once again this year at a ceremony and wreath placement on the graves of America’s fallen heroes at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, located at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78209. All community members are welcome.

A wreath can be ordered for a loved one laid to rest at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery or donated to someone who might not otherwise receive one. All online orders must be completed by Tuesday, Nov. 28, and can be completed here by clicking the Sponsor Wreaths” button.

Orders for wreaths start at $17 but there are several options. With more than 169,000 estimated headstones currently at the cemetery, the council asks the university community to consider donating a wreath this year.
