Thank you to the more than 80 participants who submitted caption ideas for a photo marking the institution’s relationship with the Spurs as part of our Celebrate the Best Of contests.
The photo of the Coyote, the Spurs’ mascot, getting a “checkup” from Guy Nicolette, MD, elicited a wide variety of submissions ranging from serious to humorous.
Three winners have been selected:
- “We make lives better, one Spur at a time.” Submitted by Jennifer Contreras, financial specialist senior in Facilities & Capital Planning.
- “Doc’s verdict: The Coyote’s heart is in the game.” Submitted by Martha Martinez, faculty process support specialist in the School of Medicine Office for Faculty.
- “All of this will come with a lollipop at the end, right?” Submitted by Pete Arguello, senior director in Governmental Relations.
Contreras, Martinez and Arguello will be awarded waterproof JBL Bluetooth speakers and their submissions might be featured in the institution’s social media channels.
