Join UT Health San Antonio’s Institutional Advancement team for Employee Appreciation Day March 3

 

Please join the university’s Institutional Advancement team as they host Employee Appreciation Day March 3, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the ALTC, Long Campus.

The special event will include music and treats in an effort to thank employees for their service to UT Health San Antonio and to express how deeply they are valued as members of the university’s family.

Please plan to stop by. The Institutional Advancement team looks forward to meeting with employees and benefiting from their ideas on how everyone’s work contributes to the missions of the health science center.

The event will include a DJ, refreshments, games and giveaways while supplies last.

Community members, health care professionals and students invited to the South Texas Alzheimer’s Conference March 8

 

The Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative Diseases at UT Health San Antonio, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, will present the 2023 South Texas Alzheimer’s Conference public event for members of the community to learn about new therapies and exciting research advancements in Alzheimer’s and dementia treatment.

The free public event, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. March 8 at the UT Health San Antonio Holly Auditorium, will include information about the latest groundbreaking research taking place around the world directly from the experts leading the discoveries.

Community members will have the opportunity to meet UT Health San Antonio researchers and health care team experts to learn about the innovative research taking place at the Biggs Institute and about clinical trials and other resources. Health care professionals and students interested in collaboration and discussion on transformational care, research and therapeutics in Alzheimer’s disease are invited to the annual 2023 South Texas Alzheimer’s Conference.

The research-based conference will take place 8:30 a.m. – 4p.m. March 8 at the UT Health San Antonio Academic Learning and Teaching Center. Click here to register.
