UT Health San Antonio is on a rapid growth trajectory that will result in the construction of seven new structures on the Greehey Academic and Research Campus. Among them is the UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital, a six-story employee parking garage and a building dedicated to brain health and research.

During construction, tentatively scheduled to begin in November, adjustments to parking services and operations will be necessary.

Faculty, staff and students who park in the lots for the Center for Oral Health Care and Research (COHCR), the Medical Arts and Research Center (MARC) and Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies will be relocated. At this time, relocation will be primarily to Lot 17, but plans may change based on construction needs.

Plans for a shuttle service from Lot 17 to the Center for Oral Health Care and Research and the Medical Arts and Research Center are in development.

If individuals are relocated, parking fees may be adjusted to the appropriate zone. Individuals with reserved parking who are impacted by the construction will be contacted directly as soon as more information is available.

To keep the UT Health San Antonio community informed on the pending changes to the Greehey Campus and the impact to parking services and operations, UT Health Parking Services has established a website dedicated to the project, which will outline the latest information on project development, construction timelines and parking operations. Check back often for the latest developments.
