Process Improvement Corner showcases improvements based on your feedback

Dear faculty, staff and learners:

We continue to benefit from efforts to improve our work processes and services within the university. Much of our focus has been to improve the quality of services, increase efficiency and productivity, decrease costs and increase employee satisfaction and teamwork.

We are introducing a new feature on the UTConnect website called the Process Improvement Corner, your home for process improvements we have made to procedures and services as a direct result of your feedback.

During May, we implemented many improvements including:

  • Pro Card limits increased – Effective June 1, 2022, ProCard limits have increased from $1,000/day and $5,000/month to $2,500/day and $10,000/month. Read more.
  • Book travel faster – You can now book travel through Concur before the Travel Authorization intake and approval, allowing you to reserve flights sooner. The My Service Center request form has also been shortened and focuses more on essential information. Contact your Financial Specialist for help booking your trip today. Read more.
  • Get computers quicker – IT Partners are the best way to request help with computer orders  Your IT Partner will investigate multiple options to fill the order including local vendors.  Tech Zone now maintains standard in-stock units for immediate purchase. We’ve also identified alternative vendors to meet needs. Read more.
