Register now for inaugural LINC IPE Symposium April 18-20

Linking Interprofessional Networks for Collaboration, or LINC, is UT Health San Antonio’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) for Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) accreditation. One aspirational goal of the QEP is an annual, university-wide conference for students, faculty, staff and administrators from all five schools to network and share ideas and progress advancing interprofessional education (IPE).

The 2022 LINC IPE Symposium, organized by the LINC Student Council in collaboration with the LINC Faculty Council, will take place April 18-20 in a hybrid format combining asynchronous programming with live virtual events. This year’s theme, “Why IPE?,” will be explored through keynote speakers, IPE activities, IPE poster presentations and interprofessional networking events.

Participants who register before April 18 will receive a free boxed dinner and t-shirt!

The symposium will kick off on April 18 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom and will feature keynote speaker Lucinda L. Maine, PhD, RPh, chair of the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) and executive vice president and CEO of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. Dr. Maine will provide insight on how IPEC is leading change in interprofessional health professions education in partnership with academic institutions like UT Health San Antonio.

Participants can register at https://uthscsa.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_43joCMFIR1C47Yy or during the registration drive that will take place on campus during the week of April 11.
