Register your mobile number to receive HSC Alert text messages

Recent mass casualty incidents, as well as weather-related issues and campus closures, are all good reasons to sign up for HSC Alert, UT Health San Antonio’s emergency communications service.

Alerts are automatically sent to all uthscsa.edu and livemail.uthscsa.edu (student) email addresses. However, to receive emergency alerts as text messages on your mobile phone, or to have these messages sent to your personal email address, you will need to register your mobile phone number, phone carrier and alternate email address in HSC Alert.

To register or update your mobile phone and carrier, log into https://uthscsa.edu/hscalert using your university username and password. Please ensure that your carrier information is up to date before logging out.
