Registration is open for the South Texas Alzheimer’s Conference

In partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, The Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative Diseases at UT Health San Antonio presents the South Texas Alzheimer’s Conference Public Event for members of the community to learn about new therapies and exciting research advancements in Alzheimer’s and dementia treatment.

The event will take place on Wednesday, March 8 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at UT Health San Antonio’s Holly Auditorium located at 7703 Floyd Curl Drive, San Antonio, TX 78229.

The conference will feature an expert panel discussion on “Challenges and new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat dementia.” Community members are invited to submit their questions for the panel while registering online.

Following the discussion, attendees can meet experts and learn about the groundbreaking research taking place at the Biggs Institute and receive information on clinical trials and other resources.

The Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative Diseases is dedicated to providing comprehensive dementia care while advancing treatment through clinical trials and research. The Biggs Institute is a National Institute on Aging (NIA)-designated Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC). In addition to patient care and research, the Biggs Institute partners with the School of Nursing at UT Health Science Center San Antonio to offer the Caring for the Caregiver program.
