Road behind McDermott Clinical Sciences Building to close half a day Dec. 14

The service road behind the McDermott Clinical Sciences Building on the Greehey Campus will be closed from 7 a.m. to noon Thursday, Dec. 14, to facilitate the delivery of a 13-ton Siemens 3T Magnetom Prisma Magnetic resonance imaging scanner.

During the road closure, traffic will be rerouted to the main entrance of the Greehey Campus through Gate 10 on Research Boulevard, underneath the South Texas Research Facility (STRF) Building.

Below, please find two maps. The top map shows the service road that will be closed in red and where traffic can enter and exit the campus during the closure in blue. The second map shows the route to the Research Boulevard entrance via Floyd Curl Drive.
