Members of the university and community are invited to join the School of Dentistry at UT Health San Antonio for a milestone occasion — the launch for its newly established research center, the Center for Global and Community Oral Health.
The launch will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28 at the Greehey Children’s Cancer Research Institute Auditorium at 8403 Floyd Curl Drive. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The event will provide insight into the Center’s mission and its various local and global community outreach programs. Guests will have the opportunity to hear from key figures in these initiatives.
Amid Ismail, the dean of the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University, will deliver the keynote speech.
Following the lecture, an hors d’oeuvre reception will be hosted.
