Community Information Now (CI:Now), a San Antonio non-profit and important community partner of UT Health San Antonio’s Institute for Integration of Medicine and Science, is gathering information to help improve the well-being and health of Bexar County residents.

CI:Now is testing survey modules for the national Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) in Bexar County about race and social determinants of health.

National health surveys like the BRFSS typically suffer from poor response rates among historically marginalized communities, which builds bias and inequity into the health data our community relies on.

Bexar County residents are encouraged to take part in the Bexar County Well-Being Survey to provide our community with good data. Insights from response patterns will be shared to help improve national health surveys.

Please complete your survey by August 18. Survey results will be summarized here in English and Spanish, around October.

Subscribe to the CI:Now monthly newsletter here to be notified of the survey results.
