Master teachers in the Divisions of General Pediatrics and Inpatient Pediatrics are teaming up to offer three teaching excellence seminars for UT Health San Antonio faculty.

Tuesday, August 8, 2017, ALTC Room 205:

  • 9 a.m.-10:45 a.m., Large Group Teaching: Interactive Techniques and Adult Learning, presented by Glen Medellin, M.D., professor and Greehey Distinguished Chair in Palliative Care for Children, General Pediatrics
  • 10:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Team-based Learning, presented by Dr. Haname Idrizi, assistant professor, Inpatient Pediatrics, and Bonnie Taylor, educational development specialist, Office of UME

Wednesday, August 9, 2017, Briscoe Library, LEC 2.042,

  • 1:15 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Educational Scholarship and Curriculum Design, presented by Dr. Elizabeth Hanson, associate professor, General Pediatrics and recipient of the 2017 Academic Pediatric Association Teaching Award for Junior Faculty.
