Temporary road closures on Floyd Curl Drive

Portions of Floyd Curl Drive, near the STRF and the new Barshop, will be temporarily closed to allow for work on the connecting bridge beginning May 19 until May 22.

The temporary road closures only affect the eastbound lanes of Floyd Curl Drive and west of Sid Katz Drive.

Tuesday, May 19 and Wednesday, May  20: Traffic control barricades, signs and a police officer will be in place by 7:00 a.m. to facilitate the road closure of the two eastbound lanes on Floyd Curl Drive and the single right turn lane into the Greehey Campus. During this road closure, the single left-turn lane that transitions to Charles Katz Drive will remain open for public vehicular traffic and for Greehey Campus access. At the end of each these workdays and by 7:00 p.m., the traffic control barricades will be removed and all traffic lanes will be re-opened.
