Dr. Patrick Ramsey, Obstetrics and Gynecology/Maternal Fetal Medicine, was a guest on Texas Public Radio’s The Source program that addressed the disruption in so many areas by the coronavirus pandemic, including prenatal care and birthing plans, with canceled appointments, visitation limits and fears of testing positive for COVID-19 adding extra stress to maternal care; help may be on the way given a shift towards telemedicine and multiple maternal care bills up for consideration in the ongoing Texas legislative session.
