This event will be presented by Texas Tribune, a nonpartisan, nonprofit media organization that informs Texans — and engages with them — about public policy, politics, government and statewide issues. Learn more at texastribune.org.

Moderated by Evan Smith, the CEO and editor in chief of the Texas Tribune, panelists will include public officials and members of the Texas Legislature. The scope of the discussion is a legislative preview of issues in health care.

Panelists will include:

  • Rep. John Zerwas, R-Richmond, a practicing medical doctor;
  • Rep. Donna Howard, D-Austin, a former critical care nurse.

The session is free and open to the public. Visitor parking is available in Lot 8. A complimentary lunch will be provided.
