“To Err Is Human” film screening set

Medical error is the third-leading cause of death in the United States. The School of Nursing, the Center for Medical Humanities and Ethics, and the Batz Patient Safety Foundation  are sponsoring a free screening of the documentary film To Err Is Human, which spotlights this silent epidemic, as well as easy-to-implement solutions that dramatically improve the quality of health care.

A pre-event reception begins at 5 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 24, followed by the film screening and panel discussion from 6 to 8 p.m., all in Pestana Lecture Hall.

The event is free but please register at https://MedicalError.Eventbrite.com.
