Event now taking place at the Pestana Lecture Hall
As part of National Public Health Week, join the UT School of Public Health San Antonio for a kickoff event spotlighting the power of partnerships in shaping the future of public health. The program will open with remarks by Taylor Eighmy, PhD, president of The University of Texas at San Antonio and acting president of UT Health San Antonio, who will outline the institution’s vision for fostering local collaborations to strengthen public health and community well-being.
Following the remarks, School of Public Health Dean Vasan Ramachandran, MD, and Michael Halpern, MD, PhD, chair of and faculty in the Department of Health Policy and Health Services Administration, will moderate a panel discussion on how partnerships between academia, government, healthcare systems and community organizations drive innovation for San Antonio’s public health ecosystem.
The event will take place on Monday, April 7, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Pestana Lecture Hall at UT Health San Antonio’s Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Campus, located at 7702 Floyd Curl Drive.
