University community invited to “Parks and Green Spaces of San Antonio” event April 2

The event includes an exclusive conversation with the former and current San Antonio mayor, who will discuss San Antonio’s visionary journey of transforming public green spaces

As part of Public Health Week, join The UT School of Public Health San Antonio for an exclusive conversation featuring former Mayor Phil Hardberger and current Mayor Ron Nirenberg as they delve into San Antonio’s visionary journey of transforming public green spaces. Hear about the city’s rich history of protecting, connecting and thriving within the lush embrace of parks and green havens.

The “Parks and Green Spaces of San Antonio: Importance to Public Health and Life” event will take place on Tuesday, April 2, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Holly Auditorium at UT Health San Antonio’s Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Campus, located at 7703 Floyd Curl Drive.

Lunch will be provided prior to the conversation with the former and current San Antonio mayors.
