Dr. Marcela Mazo from the Mays Cancer Center for patient care services within the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, was interviewed for this Univision (KWEX-TV) segment where she dispelled myths about breast cancer, including the effect that the COVID-19 vaccine may have on the results of a mammogram, and spoke about the misconceptions of clinical trials and why it’s important for the Hispanic population to participate in them.
