UT Health to host program on history of medicine in San Antonio
In conjunction with San Antonio’s Tricentennial celebration, UT Health San Antonio is sponsoring a program on “300 Years of History and Advances in Health in San Antonio.”
The program, to be held from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., May 12, in Holly Auditorium, will highlight the past, present and future of medicine in San Antonio. It will feature the former mayor Henry G. Cisneros, Ph.D., discussing health institutions as a key to the future of San Antonio, plus a panel of hospital professionals and medical experts from the San Antonio area.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about all the active parts of health care and how the progression of medicine has and continues to advance and provide the best possible future for our patients. Attendees will learn about the past, present and future of health care in San Antonio through the diverse and varied stakeholders of healthcare involved in the meeting.
