UT Health San Antonio has launched an online tool that contains a huge amount of high-quality, comprehensive information on health, wellness, diseases and other medical information.
The new Patient & Family Health Library contains sections on wellness and prevention, conditions and diseases, a symptom checker, information on various procedures and tests, natural and alternative treatments, drug information and links to health care providers.
The library also offers 50 English and 14 Spanish lifestyle and prevention video health clips, more than 400 3D English and Spanish animations covering a wide range of medical topics, self-assessment tools and more.
The service is provided through Ebsco Health, the leading provider of evidence-based clinical information, health care business intelligence and peer-reviewed medical research tools for the global health care community.
