UT Health San Antonio offering Women’s Comprehensive Health Conference

UT Health San Antonio is holding its fourth annual Women’s Comprehensive Health Conference. The conference will be held from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 10, at the Witte Museum, 2801 Broadway.

The conference includes breakfast, health screenings, powerful testimonies, expert health advice and small group discussions with UT Health San Antonio physicians. They will share the newest proven methods to enhance physical, mental and emotional well-being. A breast cancer survivor and a physician who survived a heart attack also are on the program.

The entry fee is $25, which includes door prizes and free admission to the Witte Museum. With registration, women also can schedule an onsite mammogram for a cash fee or with coverage from their insurance. The mammograms are offered through University Health System’s mobile mammogram bus. More than 30 health and wellness vendors will be present.

The event starts with check-in, health screenings and breakfast. The health presentations follow at 8:30 a.m. The topics and presenters include:
