As part of the UTSA Athletics Salute to Hometown Heroes initiative, UT Health San Antonio dignitaries will recognize the unwavering commitment of health care workers at the homecoming game.
Physicians at Mays Cancer Center, home to the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, will join the teams on the field for the coin toss. Special guests from the soon-to-open UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital will be recognized during the game.
Buy-one-get-one-free tickets are available for all UT Health San Antonio faculty and staff here. Ticket prices begin at $22. UT Health San Antonio students, residents and learners can receive a free ticket and are eligible to purchase additional tickets at a discounted rate.
UT Health San Antonio is the exclusive official health care partner of the Roadrunners’ athletic programs. The medical team comprised of Ken O. Kenneth-Nwosa, MD, the team physician, and orthopaedic surgeons Thomas DeBerardino, MD, Phil Jacobs, MD, and Ian Whitney, MD, are on the sidelines during home games to offer care if needed.
