Dr. Ruth Berggren, infectious disease specialist at UT Health San Antonio, joined city officials and experts for a COVID-19 Vaccine Town Hall livestreamed discussion on Dec. 10 on KSAT.com. Dr. Berggren dispelled myths about the vaccine and answered questions from community members about the safety of the vaccine, possible side effects, and vaccination recommendations. Dr. Berggren is a member of Metro Health’s COVID-19 Community Response Coalition and was joined by Metro Health Medical Director Dr. Junda Woo, State Rep. Barbara Gervin-Hawkins, and Rev.
