The UT System Fall 2017 Activity Challenge is here. You’ll travel along famous trails as you practice healthy habits — with amazing images and vivid descriptions that make you feel as if you’re right there. Recruit your colleagues and join us during the four weeks of our HealthTrails Challenge!
You’ll be given a goal for three different categories for this challenge: 1) Physical activity: 10,000 steps/day (at least 5 days/week), 2) Water consumption: 8-10 glasses/day (at least 5 days/week), and 3) Sleep: 7-9 hours/night (at least 5 days/week).
Work together with your colleagues to win the coveted Traveling Trophy for your institution and earn two great individual rewards for completing the challenge: A Living Well Exercise Resistance Band and a Phone Charging Power Bank. Just log at least 5 days per week to meet the challenge goal of traveling 200 virtual miles.
The program is available to all UT SELECT Medical plan members age 18 and above, including employees, retirees, and dependents. The HealthTrails Challenge registration period is from Sept. 25 through Oct. 16. The four-week challenge runs from Oct. 9 to Nov. 5.
