Jeremy Tanner, MD, assistant professor of neurology at the Biggs Institute, principal investigator, and UT Health San Antonio lead site investigator, is leading a new $2.5 million national, multi-site study to improve the early detection and diagnosis of dementia with Lewy bodies using advanced biomarker testing. The Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative Diseases at UT Health San Antonio received a $2.5 million award to lead the national study, funded by the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
