SAN ANTONIO (August 24, 2015) — Registration is underway for the first Vulcan Materials Company Golf FUNdraiser on Monday, Oct. 19, at TPC San Antonio, 23808 Resort Parkway.
Proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit the Cancer Therapy & Research Center (CTRC) at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. The CTRC is one of the nation’s premier cancer centers and is the only National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated cancer center in San Antonio. It is one of only four NCI-designated centers in Texas. The CTRC serves more than 4.5 million residents in Central and South Texas.
Golfers can register individually for $300, four-person teams for $1,000, or four-persons at the Sponsorship Levels of $1,500, $2,500 or $5,000. The Golf FUNdraiser includes breakfast, lunch, green fees, cart fees, prizes and a silent auction.
TPC San Antonio opened in January 2010 with two 18-hole championship golf courses designed by two of golf’s most innovative architects: Pete Dye and Greg Norman. TPC San Antonio is a private resort accessible to club members and their guests as well as guests of the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa.
