As the military draws down the size of its medical corps as, fortunately, fewer casualties are arriving at military hospitals from Iraq and Afghanistan, San Antonio is hoping that the highly skilled physicians, nurses, and medical technologists who have done so much to save the lives of wounded warriors will choose to remain in San Antonio and use their skills to save the lives of civilians.
