Graduate programs in the School of Nursing and School of Health Professions have achieved new national rankings in U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 list of best graduate schools.

Proud parents, family members and friends witnessed the celebratory sights and sounds of the 1,098 graduates of The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio who crossed the stage during the combined spring and summer commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 18, at the Alamodome.

As she prepares to enter patient care after graduation this May, School of Nursing student Dayelsy “Day” Navarrete Alvarez hopes her voice will resonate as a beacon of hope for a more inclusive and compassionate future in nursing.
