Norma Martinez Rogers, PhD, RN, FAAN, professor emeritus in the School of Nursing, has been selected an American Academy of Nursing Living Legend. This highest honor of the academy will be presented Oct. 28 at the academy’s 2022 Health Policy Conference in Washington D.C.

A cardiovascular nurse researcher and the leader of the School of Nursing’s clinical enterprise will be inducted this fall as fellows of the American Academy of Nursing. Both are faculty members at UT Health San Antonio and are members of the 2022 class of 250 fellows — the AAN’s largest cohort ever.
