It’s been assumed that the treatment effects of these therapies remain constant over time, but a new study from the CTRC suggests the opposite is true.

Gene therapy doubles survival in recurrent glioblastoma

An experimental gene therapy essentially doubled the overall survival of patients with recurrent glioblastoma compared to the current standard of care, according to a study by the Cancer Therapy & Research Center (CTRC) at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
