UT Health San Antonio medical student, John Michael Austin, has been appointed by Governor Abbott to serve as the Student Regent on the UT Board of Regents, the governing body for The University of Texas System.

Although Lily Espinoza looks forward to her May 21 graduation from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and earning her PhD, she also knows her work will not end there.
