Researchers create new device to save lives on battlefields

University researchers have collaborated to develop three devices that would offer combat medics a suction solution for any setting, from controlled to chaotic. Suction devices remove blood and vomit that can block a wounded patient’s airway and prevent breathing.

UT San Antonio receives final approval from national accrediting agency

The University of Texas at San Antonio met its accreditation standards as a merged university, completing the required process for institutional-level accreditation for a merger as affirmed by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
