In the final days of the 85th Texas legislative session, a budget was submitted to Gov. Greg Abbott for his signature to fund higher education for the 2018-2019 biennium, a specified time frame of two years.
Man overcomes heart problems to graduate from nursing school

Michael Moreno was born with a congenital heart problem. Had he been born in a different era he might not have survived. Now 24, he just graduated from nursing school and plans to become a cardiac nurse practitioner.
