School of Nursing expanding recovery program for mothers with SUD and children

The School of Nursing has received $16 million from the Texas Department of Health and Human Services to expand its successful Casa Mia recovery program for pregnant and parenting mothers with opioid use disorder and their children, and expand these services to women with any type of substance use disorder.






Banners announce School of Medicine’s national ranking

In recognition of the U.S. News and World Report’s Best Grad Schools for 2023 rankings, large banners were erected to showcase the Long School of Medicine’s achievement of being named a top 50 medical school for the second year in a row. The banners are located on the facade of the parking garage near the Long School of Medicine on the Long Campus.
