Gill, Ph.D., professor of family and community health systems in the School of Nursing, have been selected as members of the University of Texas Kenneth I. Shine Academy of Health Science Education.

The American Academy of Periodontology has named Michael P. Mills, D.M.D., as its Outstanding Periodontal Educator Award. Dr Mills is a clinical associate professor with teaching responsibilities in the postdoctoral division of the Department of Periodontics in the School of Dentistry.
