$1 million for Alzheimer’s research

Henrich, M.D., MACP, president of the Health Science Center, personally thanked Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio trustees Dec. 3 for their unprecedented grant of $1,050,000 toward South Texas’ first Institute for Alzheimer and Neurodegenerative Disease. The grant is the largest in the foundation’s history.

UT Nursing partners with AVANCE for school-based pediatric clinic

Two hundred children who attend the AVANCE-San Antonio Head Start program at Fenley Center will receive on-site health care through a new nurse-led clinic at the school. The Fenley Center is a child-development campus in the Harlandale Independent School District.
