Dr. Cantu receives national award for environmental efforts

Adelita G. Cantu, Ph.D., RN, associate professor of nursing at UT Health San Antonio, has received the Charlotte Brody Award from Health Care Without Harm, a health coalition that seeks to reduce the environmental footprint of health care worldwide.


New chair of anesthesiology named

Frank Rosinia, M.D., M.H.C.M., has been named chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology, effective June 17. Dr. Rosinia was selected after an extensive national search, said Robert Hromas, M.D., FACP, dean of the Long School of Medicine.
