Alphonse Siros Trust provides student scholarships

Thanks to a $10,000 grant from The Alphonse Siros Charitable Trust, four students studying to be respiratory therapists at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio’s Laredo Campus Extension will each receive $2,500 scholarships.


Laredo students interested in respiratory care can attend March 29 event

Laredo and South Texas students interested in becoming respiratory therapists and applying to study at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio’s Laredo Campus Extension are invited to an upcoming Respiratory Care Open House. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held between 3:30 and 5 p.m. Thursday, March 29, in the auditorium at the Laredo Campus Extension, 1937 Bustamante.
