Guidance regarding in-person, on-campus activities

To complement our safety precautions for in-person activities on and off campus, the following guidance is provided based on thoughtful discussions and recommendations of our deans and members of the Academic Continuity Planning Group, which includes Jacqueline L. Mok, vice president of Academic, Faculty and Student Affairs, and Drs. Tom Patterson, Jan Patterson, Jason Bowling, Mike Charlton, Bob Leverence and Scott Jones.



Public COVID-19 vaccine scheduling to begin

As a new, significant step toward stopping the spread of COVID-19, UT Health San Antonio is now offering online vaccine scheduling to all members of our community who meet the current eligibility requirements outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as the state.




Message from the President: Universitywide message on Texas lifting COVID mask mandate

Our fight against COVID-19 at UT Health San Antonio will remain consistent. As essential workers who serve patients every day – many of whom are among the sickest in our community – we must always prioritize safety. We will continue with our current safety protocols and require masks on campus for employees, students and visitors. We will continue to require temperature screenings upon entry to campus buildings and maintain our disinfection protocols.

In the midst of a year battling the COVID-19 pandemic, San Antonio and Texas went through a week of subzero wind chill resulting in no water, no power and no heat. And, as has become the norm, our UT Health San Antonio community mobilized on a heroic scale.
